Who am I
How I Can Help I've been a driving instructor in Nottingham/Mansfield area since 2000. On my last standards check I achieved grade A (the highest grade available). I've had years of experience teaching in numerous institutions.I have an ADI badge to teach learners and a Fleet badge to go in to companies to assess their staff to make sure they are as safe as possible while driving company cars. I’ve worked with students of all ages in order to help them discover their full learning potential.
I’ve always loved helping others and enjoy making concepts and ideas accessible to everyone. Through my unique and personalized approach, my students develop organized study habits and effective learning strategies that can be applied to a wide range of areas. Had a great time learning with Paul. Took me all the way from complete beginner to here. Every lesson was really informative and he covers all bases well. Pushes you to make sure you get everything right and has the patience to wait for you to get there. Amazing instructor.

What areas do you cover and what times do you work?I basically cover all of Nottinghamshire. Nottingham AND Mansfield / Sutton / Kirkby in Ashfield. I'm very flexible on times so please ask me and I'll see if I can help you achieve your goals.

What car will I be learning in?Manual lessons. 2025 VW Golf R-Line is a very easy to drive and learn in. Whether you're 5'0 or 6'7 you will be confident and comfortable learning in this car. Automatic lessons. 2021 VW ID3. Fully electric automatic car with plenty spaces and easy to learn to drive. Again will suit all heights and abilities.

Are all of your classes one-to-one?Yes. Definitely. All lessons are one-to-one tuition. No one else is allowed on your lessons with you except on the test day. Company fleet assessments can be conducted in pairs if that's what your company requests.

What test centres do I cover?I cover Ashfield, Colwick, Watnall and Chilwell. I don't cover Worksop or Derby.

How much do you charge?Manual Lessons 1 hour £38 5hr blocks £185 10hr block £360 20hr block £700 Test day £95.00 / £114.00 depending on which test centre your test is booked at. Special offers are sometime available so please enquire at the time of booking. Discounts available with Flyer given to previous pupils if you have one. Refresher lessons and motorway lessons are £40 per hour. Payments can be cash on the lesson. Bank transfer before the lessons. Credit / debit cards via PayPal. (DON'T use business option, only personal option otherwise you will have to pay the charges that PayPal charge. Personal option is free.) Pass plus £240 Paid in advance. Min 7 days cancellation period.
